Underground Orchestra

Forgot all about the video clips stacking up in our handy little camera! We want to share a couple clips from Paris.

This underground orchestra made us stop in our tracks while traveling the Paris metro.

A clip from our visit to the the Arc de Triomphe shows you how huge it really is. Napoleon dreams big.

  3. Thanks, glad you stumbled across our blog. Yes, we did have to save up quite a bit for it. Julia is a student and I'm self-employed, which helped make this possible. But we're also traveling on a budget and not spending much on resort hotels or anything else fancy.

  5. How did you guys plan for this? I have been thinking about this non stop... How on earth did you figure out where you are staying and how much money needed to budget this trip. Where do you even begin. It's so amazing!

  6. We only had our first couple places planned. Now we're finding places to stay and ways to get around on the go. Yuriy is our master budgeter and accountant. He keeps track of our spending daily!

  10. That's hilarious you say that, because I am fretting that I'm going to have so many repeat outfits in our photos due to my limited supply! :)

    Jackie, we are sharing a Nikon D700 and a small stash of prime lenses (24, 35, 50, & 85mm).

  11. I was thinking the same thing...i didn't really see repeat outfits. Just a thought, you can buy a couple shirts and swap out things you might be sick of :)

  12. I loooove that the orchestra was playing that music that was so chaotic like a rat race... so appropriate...as if providing a soundtrack. And no one cared but you guys! So funny :)

It's funny you actually thought the Arc du Triomphe was huge.. First time I went to Paris I remember thinking exactly the same!
